A dense dust storm descended on Sydney overnight and it turned everything blood red. This photo is taken without any filters.
The end of the world is coming! :)

It's a bit eerie to wake up and find everything in blood red. I'm half-expecting the Martians to land and Tom Cruise to save us any moment now....
That is wild! When it rains, will it look like blood running in the streets?

ReplyDeleteThat would be a sight to behold indeed. But it's too bad, the rain never came and by the afternoon, the red dust cloud had passed us to annoy our northern neighbours at Brisbane. :)
Dang I missed having anything like that when I came to Sydney. :-)
ReplyDeleteThe dust storms here in AZ can look terribly intimidating as well. It looks like some kind of apocalyptic movie scene, I'll try to take a picture next time we get one, although the season is pretty much over now.
ReplyDeleteIt wasn't much better in Brisbane. :(
ReplyDeleteIn Los Angeles, the air/ground gets that pinkish quality after a large wildfire has been blazing away, but haven't seen it get blood-red like that yet!
ReplyDeletei think Tom would be leading the Martians! he's that kind of guy.
