Short-Cheparinov

Well, a couple of things finally did happen.

Cheparinov officially apologised to Short, the Appeals Committee etc.

The apology was accepted and Short did turn up for the game.

They shook hands and Short went on to beat Cheparinov in a Sicilian.

    It's nice that the actual game result matched the forfeit point for GM Short. Occasionally, justice does occur. :)

    Indeed. Danailov's players are no doubt getting a "reputation" after this fiasco.
